Deeper anxeity, louder music
Heavier screams from within
Deafening silence on the outside
Thoughts like crippling metal tins
Who’ll save you? Will I? Will they?
None; because they can’t hear you
Alone, yet guarded.
Afraid, yet undaunted.
All that they give me, someday, will be their’s
Uncertainity and fear
Wrong moves; they’re leaving clues
I’m picking them up and keeping them close.
Aware of their smiles, aware of their lies
Aware of all that shines
Ticking time; ticking time
Some day, fortune will be mine.

I like the way that you have left the reader enough space to paint a second picture within their own mind. Great writing.
